Dealing with Stress (and personal update)

Hey Guys!

So... I am back!

Apologies for the long disappearance. I gradually got really busy with uni life, exams, jobs and other personal issues that now have resolved.

Back to business...

Being in my final year of uni and managing the couple of jobs I have, stress does get to me every now and then.

What is the correct or perfect way to deal with that?
No one knows... It is a big mystery but we have our own ways to deal with stress.

I can say that I am definitely not the only person who gets stressed, everyone does in fact! Whether it is more or less than usual, everyone experience it at some point in their lives. I have asked around how they deal with stressful times.

So... these are the following tips I personally follow and tips gathered from my lovelies:

For relaxation:

- Take warm soothing baths using your favourite bath bombs

- Use your best face mask (making sure it suits your skin; refer back to my face mask post)
- Naps
- Chill out in the evening

Food wise:

- Chocolate
- Eat well
- Water/hydration

Faithfulness:
- Pray
- Think of life when stress will be over
- Cry
- Talking to friends and listening to their advice (not faithfulness but helpful)

Leisure:
- Reading
- Going out with friends
- Shopping
- Play games
- Music
- Spend time with children
- Hobbies and interests
- Physical exertion/exercise

Taking actions:
- Daily goals
- Forcing to sit down and take responsible action
- Sort it out

Medical help:
- Antidepressants
*one thing to note with this is that they take a minimum of 4 weeks till they start working inside your brain due to the physiological changes that need to occur inside the cells in your body, hence do not worry or overdose if they are not effective initially and in any doubt consult your GP or doctor.

I have been away for quite a while and I did receive a lot of your messages to come back with the posts and despite a lot of attempts, it was really hard to come back.

I will not promise or guarantee weekly posts but I will attempt to do regular posts.

Thank you so much for taking the time out to read my content and many more to come in the future, promise!

Yours,

Nafiza

A Mini Getaway

Hi!

I am back after quite some time I guess 😅
Some of you may know that I was stuck with assignments and exams and practically half of my exams are done. Just after half of my exams were done, I flew off to my home town, Bilbao in the North of Spain. North meaning all the beaches and seafood, etc. Well I am boring and that is too much. No matter how boring I am, here are some pictures of some of the places I went just in the 2 days and I loved it!

Enjoy!

Make sure to check back next weekend for a new (normal) post.

Take Care,

 Yours, Nafiza

Mother's Day Ideas You Wouldn't Think About

Hello

I hope my dissappearance isn't killing you too much. It is end of March and soon to be April so that means "coursework", "exams", "MCQ", "grades", etc. It is getting to a hard point so please bear with me if I'm dissappearing.

Mother's Day is this Sunday (today) and I kept seeing posts about it around but it didn't show the actual date. Now I'm starting to realise that it's only a week away so I thought I might dedicate a post about it.
Disclaimer: this is for a bit of fun or as some of you say "banter"

This is what you could possibly give your mothers on Sunday:

1. Pay her bill (phone, electricity, gas, water, council,  etc.)

2. Take her grocery shopping, if you have a car, driver her to shopping, carry all her shopping and possibly pay for them in the till. Actually, you don't even to take her, get a list from her and buy more than necessary of  good quality.

3. Clean you room for once finally

4. Clean the whole house, including the toilet. Yes! The toilet as well. And your room... again

5. Give her a massage and pamper her.

6. Turn up at home with something you bought at a great bargain. It doesn't need to be for her but it should be a good bargain.

7. Cook her something, possibly without burning the house down.

8. Lastly, remind her how much you love her and appreciate her, but this is not a one-off thing. You should do this more often, not just on mother's day and let her be proud of you.

You can follow these or not, it's upto you but these are just for a bit of humour. It is upto you to choose what to do for her. Make her feel like the best mother if you are unable to do this any other time due to some reasons.

Make sure to check back every weekend  (hopefully) for a new post

Take Care
